Appointments: Telephone the office directly at 217-366-7450 to arrange an appointment, or to simply ask questions about the practice. Please have ready: 1) the reason for your visit (i.e. the type of pain you are experiencing), 2) if you have had any related x-rays, CT or MRI scans and the approximate date so that we can locate your records and 3) insurance information/number.

We can arrange an appointment for a new patient consultation to discuss and treat any orthopedic, nerve or spine (neck and back) pain, a recheck appointment for any former patient, or directly for injection therapy or EMG testing if it has been prescribed by your primary or specialist doctor.
No physician referral or insurance pre-authorization is required for any accepted insurance plan, including Aetna, Healthlink, PersonalCare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. The office is a Medicare provider. Please call if you have any questions.
We do not have a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Each patient is seen personally by Steven Thatcher, M.D.
We accept all forms of Workman's Compensation insurance and personal injury (e.g. motor vehicle) insurance.
