Our office location at Christie on Windsor is strictly clinical and we do not handle insurance and financial questions. Christie Clinic and your personal insurance provider have many resources available to you for insurance and billing needs.
None of the health plans require a referral from a primary care doctor to see Dr. Thatcher.
Christie Clinic is the central Illinois preferred provider for many insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Healthlink, Health Alliance, Cigna, US Healthcare, Medicare, PersonalCare and Aetna.
If you have specific questions about insurance coverage, pricing, co-payments, etc., please contact your insurance carrier first; the number will be on your insurance card. If you have questions about specific billing, contact Christie Clinic Customer Service at 366-1382.
Our office will contacts your insurer to obtain an authorization for any outpatient injection or surgical procedures you may require; this is an approval to perform the procedure from insurance and does not preclude any co-payments or deductables for outpatient ambulatory procedures based on the insurance policy that you have with your insurer.
